Nomadic Cultural Immersion Program

About the program

Rooted in tradition, guided by herders

The Oortsog Nomadic Cultural Immersion Program offers a rare chance to experience authentic Mongolian nomadic life on the open steppe. Over four days you take part in yurt building, horse riding, traditional archery, herding demonstrations and visits to nomadic families.

Cultural performances such as morin khuur, throat singing, long song and biyelgee bring Mongolia’s intangible heritage to life. Evenings are spent under vast star-filled skies, sharing stories around the fire.
